Philadelphia Flower Show

About This Activity

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Monday, March 3, 2014.

Package includes: includes transportation, and flower show admission.

This is the world's biggest and oldest indoor flower show and is a spectacle that everyone - including non-gardeners - should have on their must-see-at-least-once list. Many people make it a point to go every year.

We will make a short coffee stop and plan to arrive at the Philadelphia Convention Center at approximately 10:00 a.m. through the eyes of an artist and the creativity of imaginative garden and floral designers, the 2014 International Philadelphia Flower Show presents, "ARTiculture". Enter the most unique art gallery created by exhibitors as you view exquisite designs through 20-foot high, flower-adorned picture frames. The art of horticulture is brought to life with innovative digital projections, astonishing three-dimensional special effects, and interactive elements that will engage and actually bring visitors into these blossoming masterworks. We will depart the show at 4:00 p.m. with a non-fast-food dinner stop at your expense on the way home.

The bus will leave the Carlisle Point Mall, 800 East High Street. (park in the mall parking lot, across from Pizza Hut) at 6:30 a.m. SHARP. Please be prompt for your departure times and arrive 15 minutes early. The bus will be held no longer than 10 minutes. Everyone is required to sign a hold harmless form while on the bus. The Flower Show admission ticket will be given to you on the bus.
