In Phase 2 students get introduced to the games objective, rules and etiquette. To get students playing the game sooner we utilize Rolf equipment. Unlike golf, Rolf is played with alternative equipment from shorter distances and puts a premium on a student’s ability to control the trajectory of their shots. Just like in golf, the lower shots go further than the high shots. Rolfers use The One Wood and tennis balls while playing from tee markers set at 100-150 yards from the hole. Once on the green, rather than putt a golf ball into a traditional 4” hole, students use The One Wood to putt a tennis ball into an 8" hole. The objective, rules and etiquette of the game are the same as golf only it is introduced in a way that is much more enjoyable to the beginner.
