Come run through historic downtown Canton and support the Service League of Cherokee County. Proceeds of the race will benefit the needy children of Cherokee County. The course will be run on paved streets through downtown and the historic residential area.
The race is part of the 2013 Black Bag Race Series.
Shirts and Goodies
This year we will have Long Sleeved Shirts. Shirts are guaranteed to pre-registered participants and will be given out while supplies last to race day registrants. There will be plenty of fluids and snacks.
$1000 School Participation Award
The school that has the most participation will received a $1000 award. Wear your school colors, bring your school mascot, bring the football team.
About the Service League of Cherokee County
The Service League of Cherokee County is a volunteer group of 80 women who work year-round to raise funds for local needy children. Funds raised during this event and other activities, including RIVERFEST, provide for necessities like clothing and eyeglasses, while also supporting camps, scholarships, and much more. Packet Pick Up
Early Packet Pick Up will be Friday December 6th from 4PM to 7PM at the Gazebo in Downtown Canton. Race day registration and race day packet pick up will begin at 7AM.

There will be CASH AWARDS and medals for the top 3 overall male and female competitors. We will have Overall Masters Male/Female awards and age group awards will be given out 3 deep in standard age groups beginning with 10 and under to 75 and over. Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.
