The Amy D. Sunday Program, a collaboration between the Amy D Foundation and the Little Bellas, is dedicated to preserving Amy Dombroski’s memory and sharing her love of cycling. We aim to honor our long-time friend by inspiring the next generation to love the sport as Amy did. The Amy D. Sunday Program compliments the Beti Bike Bash camp, offering consistency throughout the summer to reinforce a strong female bond and mountain bike skills progression. The program includes an end of season potluck/BBQ, and each rider will receive a special Amy D. edition Primal jersey and goodie bag. About This Organizer

Little Bellas brings together girls, ages 7 to 16, and female mentors in our summer programs.  We use mountain biking as a vehicle to teach the importance of teamwork, goal-setting, and participation in a healthy lifestyle.  Once a week during the summer or during a multi-day camp, mentors and girls ride together at a local trail network and focus on improving skills as well as participate in team-building activities. The program is organized around a curriculum that builds upon previous skills and girls are broken up into groups based on age and ability. After the group ride, the groups participate in games that incorporate that day’s skill focus.   Each session always includes the all-important snack.

Nationals camps take place at large national level events and allow the girls the opportunity to meet lots of nationally ranked pros.  Regional camps often have visits from pros, and the curriculum and mentoring groups are consistent throughout the summer.
