What's Included

This comprehensive 20-hour class will give teens greater confidence in their drawing abilities and improve their visual-thinking and problem-solving skills as they learn to draw. Through the step-by-step process of learning to draw, students will also enhance their everyday problem-solving skills and other right brain functions. No drawing experience is necessary. This class is designed for teens (in junior and senior highschool) who believe that they cannot draw, as well as those who enjoy drawing and wish to improve their technique for realistic drawing.

About This Organizer

Aliki's (Ah-LEE-kees) is a place and space where arat begins.

We believe that ANYONE can learn how to draw and that drawing is a teachable skill just like any other.  The process of learning to draw opens up endless possibilities and easily helps students branch off into other visual art forms.  Artists who paint and sculpt, do so better when they know how to draw.

Convinced that drawing was in fact a “teachable” subject and that a structured method could be established in much the same way as had been done in music and writing, Aliki created what is now known as Aliki’s 7-Step System.  Using a revolutionary instructional drawing method, and sound teaching techniques, Aliki's has encouraged hundreds of artists from beginners to professionals of all ages. Our focus is to teach practical skills that encourage all artists to use drawing as a way of life.
