To provide youth with access into the game of golf through programs that build
life value, instill confidence through achievement, and offer a fun and educational golf
Texas Team 4 Level Golf Enrichment Program:
Introduces children to golf, prepares them for the golf course and then readies them for
competitive golf as they advance levels. Each level corresponds to one 10 week session of
Texas Team White Level teaches students the proper golf set-up, swing fundamentals and the game's basic etiquette in a fun environment that encourages kids to give it a try. The WhiteLevel creates a framework for success and establishes a solid foundation for Texas Team's 4 Level Program. All White Level students automatically advance into Red Level.
Character Development Theme: Respect - for the game, the course, fellow players and
Texas Team Red Level builds upon fundamentals acquired in the White Level to further develop each student's golf swing. Players experience more challenging drills and games while learning additional etiquette and introductory golf rules to prepare them for the Red Skills Challenge, which they must pass to advance into Texas Team Blue Level.
Character Development Theme: Caring- to be kind, compassionate and show others that you care. Showing gratitude, forgiveness of others and helping those in need is a way to show caring.
Texas Team Blue Level prepares students with the skills and knowledge needed to move out of the after-school environment and tee it up on the golf course. Participants learn a pre-shot routine, new types of shots and additional golf rules while preparing for the golf course through simulations, visual aids and games. All Blue Level students automatically advance into Black Level.
