Swim I : This program is for anyone who wants to be a better swimmer. The goal of this course is to go through all elements of the swim stroke to help you become as efficient as possible. For triathletes we will also practice mass starts sighting and other triathlon specific skills. In addition John will provide one or two workouts and drills for you to do on your own so you maintain a good feel for the water in between classes. Each week head coach John Stewart will focus on a different part of the stroke with drills and exercises, then combine those skills with lap swims focused on technique. At the end of this class you'll feel much more comfortable in the water, much more in control of your swimming, and much, much faster.
Folks looking to participate in this program MUST already be able to comfortably swim 2 lengths of the pool in some semblance of the freestyle/crawl stroke (regardless of speed, or lack thereof)
