10 weeksThe twice weekly workouts will be a combination of run, bike and bricks workouts. Improved pacing, increased endurance and strength and transitioning will be the overriding focus of the class. In addition to our twice weekly group workouts we also have an Online Training component which is updated weekly to let you know what we're doing in class that week as well as some suggested in-between class homework.
We will have TWO group swim workouts. One pool workout (May 6th) at the beginning of the class that will work in conjunction with our weekly online swim coaching. We will cover all of the basic swim drills in class so that you will better understand and are able maximize the online coaching. The second will be an Open Water Swim Workshop at the midpoint of the program which will provide you with the essential open water skills necessary for a successful race day. If a stronger swim concentration is desired all program participants will have priority discount entry into one of our fitness level specific tri-swim classes.
We've developed this program for someone who can already swim 250 yards continuously, run 3 miles continuously and can bike 12 miles continuously.
Ample time is devoted to race day preparation so that if this is your first triathlon, you will be well informed and prepared.
Fee: $265 without race registration or $550 WITH Race Registration.
Days/Times: Thursdays from 7:00pm-8:00pm and Sunday mornings at 8:00am In general, you should plan on running on Thursdays and cycling on Sundays
Dates: May 9th thru race day July 14th - 10 weeks We will NOT have class May 25th or July 4th for the Independance Day weekend.
