In December 2006 Natural Home magazine named Park Slope one of America's 10 best neighborhoods based on its parks, green spaces and neighborhood gathering spaces. Taking its name from its location on the western slope of neighboring Prospect Park it's main avenues are its primary commercial streets, while its east-west side streets are populated by many historic brownstones.Join us on a 5 mile run to experience a Manhattan lifestyle in a neighborhood setting.
Park Slope is a beautiful neighborhood nestled in the heart of Brooklyn that offers tree-lined streets, top notch restaurants and Prospect Park, an intricately designed park from the same engineers of Central Park. You'll run through park and on the streets that were once covered by troops fighting in the Revolutionary War. You’ll also run by the former site of Ebbets Field, home of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
