What's Included

The Queens of Everything are a NYC trio that bring acoustic blues and country into a more modern setting. The group consists of Arminda Thomas on banjo, banjo uke and guitar, Jen Sirey guitar and Liz Schnore ukulele and guitar. Their individual vocal strengths bring out that tension you can only get by singing close harmonies that they use to create rich song-scapes. ----------------------- Roddy Barnes is an engaging and diverse musician/songwriter who has performed world wide including France, Germany, Jamaica, Monte Negro, Togo, Ghana, and the United States. As a songwriter he has written original music and lyrics for "Cultivating Life" on PBS, "Death of a Salesman" at the Missouri Reparatory Theatre in St. Joseph MO, "Road Kill Diner" at Cite des Artes in Lafayette, LA., and "The Velveteen Rabbit" at Sycamore Rouge in Petersburg, VA. His songs have been recorded by Saffire/The Uppity Blues Women on Alligator Records, by Ann Rabson on BC Records, and by Gina Deluca. The Charlottesville Ballet Company also performed to his composition "Nocturne for Harmonica". He teaches blues, gospel, and songwriting at various camps including Augusta Blues Week in Elkins WV., Centrum in Port Townsend, WA., and Swananoa in Swananoa, NC.
