Jason Michael constantly needs new leg braces as he grows. He wears the wheels off his walker because he is full of energy as are most boys his age. He and his family have to make trips to Iowa, where his doctors are located, as well as in need of constant physical therapy.
Olivia "Livie Grace" Wellman is the four year old daughter of Shane and Katherine Wellman of Brooklet.~ Livie has multiple diagnoses and is an extremely active little girl who has overcome many obstacles in her young life.~ Livie has under gone multiple surgeries and procedures and is currently waiting for an additional surgery on her eyes. She is followed by 3 specialty physicians and attends approximately 10 combined physical, occupational and speech therapy sessions weekly. She regularly~needs new leg braces and~is learning to use a walker to walk, which will frequently be replaced as she grows. The run uses the same route as the Brooklet 5K Peanut Run that occurs in August. It is a certified 5K course.
