Breckenridge Road Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 1/4 Marathon and Kids Mile

Race Date: September 19th, 2015
Race Start: 26.2 will start in Breckenridge at the base of Peak 8 at 7am, 13.1 will start in Breckenridge at Colorado Mountain College at 7am, all other distances will start from the Dillon Ampitheater at the finish line at 8:30am.
Packet Pick-Up: Friday Prior to Race at Vertical Runner Breckenridge from 2-8pm
Race Tees: All racers will receive a commemorative Breckenridge Marathon long sleeve gender specific shirt. NOTE: Runners who registered after 9/10/15 are not guaranteed a t-shirt!
Awards: Overall: The top 3 male/female runners in each race will receive a prize (overall winners are not eligible for age category prizes)
Age Category Winners: A prize will be given to the first place winner in each of the following age categories: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Finisher Medals: All racers will receive a unique wood finisher medal (kids mile excluded)!
Event details and schedule
The 26.2 Breckenridge Marathon will be starting in Breckenridge with a tour though main street Breckenridge. Will then head on to the beautiful paved Summit County Rec Path and run twoards Frisco. In Frisco, you will cross hwy 9 and being the scenic tour of Lake Dillon following the paved rec path around the lake, eventually over the Damn Road, and a short out and back section towards Keystone, coming back to finish at the Dillon Ampitheater where you'll enjoy a rocky mountain style post race celebration!
13.1 runners will start just north of Breckenridge to the Colorado Mountain College, Breckenrige Campus and follow the end of the marathon course.
1/4 Marathon and Kids Run runners will start from the finish area in Dillon and run and out and back course primarily around Lake Dillon. Parking is available for free at the CMC Campus, or there will be space for runners to be dropped off at this location for the start.
All 13.1 and 26.2 finisher will get unique hand made wood finisher medals. All runners will get a special tech shirt (if pre-registered prior to 9/10/15).
Finish area parking and transportation: There is free parking near the Dillon Amphitheater finish area. Runners needing transportation back to Breckenridge post race are encouraged to provide their own ride or may use the Summit Stage free bus system...busses run aprox 1 per hour from the Dillon Transit Center.
**There will be a free school bus shuttle from the finish back to CMC Parking lot once an hour until 2pm on Saturday!
