Our day camp runs Monday – Friday, from 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from our West Brattleboro campsite each day. Campers are provided with breakfast (if they arrive by 8AM), lunch, and 2 snacks. Campers in our day camp enjoy almost all of their day outside. They follow the same camp schedule as the rest of the community, which includes a morning of rotating activities (arts and crafts, wilderness, swimming lessons, sports, and more) followed by lunch, a short rest period, and a full afternoon of free swim, games, and free choice activities. Day campers are also welcome to stay for our Thursday night closing campfire, which runs until 8:45 PM. Campers are assigned to a cabin, so they become acquainted with “camp life”, and feel just as connected to camp as our overnight campers. Day Campers should plan to bring a bathing suit and towel each day. They also should bring one blanket and pillow to use on their bunk during rest hour. Parents can send sunscreen and bug spray if needed, or apply it at home in the morning.
