Designed for experienced mental health practitioners, this workshop will address 1) important ethical issues in clinical practice that extend beyond the fundamentals and 2) making ethical decisions in challenging contexts. As a result of participating in this course, participants will be able to:
• Demonstrate an advanced working knowledge of ethical principles central to professional activity in mental health practice.
• Identify and analyze cases and problem situations in the context of ethical, legal, and professional practice standards.
• Discuss ethical challenges and propose solutions consistent with ethical standards and good risk management practices.
