Untimed 5K Fun Run/Walk
The Untimed 5K Fun Run/Walk is for runners and walkers who prefer to ease into the holiday while also supporting the Food Bank. Participants in the Untimed 5K Fun Run/Walk will start after the 5K race, as a courtesy to these participants who are racing. Please do not walk in the 10K event. The 10K course will be supported for 90 minutes (14 minute per mile pace). Patrollers on the 10K will sweep behind the last runners and cannot support walkers due to time constraints.
5K & 10K races will be scored using the chip timing Chrono Track D-Tag system. All 5K & 10K race participants must wear both 1) the bib number pinned to the FRONT of your outer garment and 2) the paper D-tag timing chip attached to your shoelace. You will be timed only if you wear the assigned plastic chip on your shoe. The timing chips will not be collected afterward. Participants in the Untimed 5K Fun Run/Walk will receive an event bib number that must be worn on the outer garment.
