About this event
Fall is a wonderful time to plant native perennials. In this workshop, you’ll learn about the benefits of fall planting, and how to plan and prepare your site. Registration includes a tray of native plants. Additional native plants can be purchased at the Wild Ones Fall Native Plant Sale. The workshop includes an educational presentation and hands-on garden bed planning with Wild Ones officers and members. Light snacks will be provided during break. Note: Students do not need to bring supplies, but if possible, bring maps or photos of your property as it will help you with your very own garden plan. We will have materials to share with students, but feel free to bring your own tools to help draft your garden plan (e.g. colored pencils, graph paper, and tools like a ruler, compass, or protractor).
