What's Included

Skills Clinic and Hockey 5's Clinic will include instructional drills and play designed to enhance each field player's and goal keepers skills while acquiring game experience. Additionally players will be introduced to Hockey 5's, an exciting, high scoring game developed by FIH. 5 field players and 1 goalkeeper compete on a half field, goals can be scored from anywhere, goalkeepers can even score with their sticks! Teams can have a maximum of 10 players including a goal keeper. Player's can sign up either as Free Agents, or come with their Club or High School team. The Clinics are four-hour sessions featuring an instructional period then games coached by BU staff and players. The team play is a Hockey 5's round-robin tournament. Each team will be guaranteed 4 games. At In The Circle Camps, we look at you as a future Division I, II, or III college athlete. Not every player will go on to compete at the highest levels of National and International competition, but we strive to get you ready if you do! We want you to feel that you are walking away a better individual fied hockey player and better teammate to your high school, club or potential college team. We look forward to working with you at our 2014 field hockey camps & clinics; where you will have the opportunity to improve your individual game in a fun and competitive environment.

About This Organizer

Similar to the successful philosophy used at Boston University Field Hockey, In The Circle Camps primary focus is to take each individual player and make her better.  In The Circle Camps coaches use detail-oriented teaching & evaluation of stickwork, footwork, passing and shooting skills, and communication in order to raise each player's level of play and personal confidence. With truly low player/coach ratios, coaches who are passionate teachers of the game and an emphasis on individual stick skills and goal keeping skills, small sided game concepts and improving a player's ability to read the game, we have found a winning system.
