About This Activity

Join us for the 14th Annual Stick Boy Bread Company Mayview Madness 5K and Fun Run. Held on some of the most beautiful roads in the High Country you will be sure to enjoy the breathtaking views. After the race, relax at Bistro Roca Restaurant for post race snacks and awards.

FREE 5 WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM

Thanks to ZAP Fitness, everyone who signs up can learn from some of America?s top runners at a series of five FREE training sessions at Bass Lake every Wednesday night from August 21 until race day. Each clinic begins at 5:30 with coaching sessiong followed by a training run. ZAP Fitness coaches will cover a different topic each week to help you get ready for the race.

Entry Fees

Register for the 5K Race/Fun Run before Sept 1- $20.00
Late Registration prior to Sept 21- $25.00
Register on race day Sept. 21 between 7:00 and 7:45AM for $30.00
Register for the 1 Mile Kids race prior to September 21 for $10, $15 day-of registration

Categories and Awards

The 5K race will have great prizes donated by local businesses for the top three male and female overall finishers and masters finishers, as well as age group winners
(13 and under, 14-18, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,70+)
***Additional prizes will be awarded for best costume!

Advance Packet Pickup

Pre-register runners can pick up race packets at Stick Boy Bread Company: 345 Hardin St., Boone, NC 7am-6:30pm on Thursday, September 19th and Friday, September 20th.

The event benefits the Blue Ridge Conservancy's work with willing landowners and local communities to permanently protect land and water resources with agricultural, ecological, cultural, recreational and scenic value in northwest North Carolina.
