As both a student organization and competitive sports team, the club seeks to promote the sport of cycling on campus and facilitate rider development. Our team competes at the division I regional and national levels, the highest levels achievable for collegiate cyclists, and provides an introduction to bike racing for many students. Our club also stays involved in the community through bike safety clinics and charity events.

The Sweatin' Burnt Orange Bike Tour will again include routes from 10 to 80 miles weaving through the Texas Hill Country. The 72 mile route includes a stop in the famous Luckenbach Texas and all routes feature challenging hills and beautiful vistas. It's an incredible Texas riding experience that'll leave you Sweatin' Burnt Orange!

Tour participants receive:

  • Event T-shirt (pre-registrants only)
  • Post ride party with all-you-can-eat catered bbq and refreshments
  • Full course support with rest stops every 10-15 miles
