This class is a continuation of Painterly Prints (segment 1) or a 4-week mini-course if you did not attend segment 1.
Monotypes are a combination of painting and printmaking. Monoprinting is a spontaneous way of working and readily lends itself to experimentation. Instruction concentrates on water-based media such as paints, crayons, pencils and inks. This class explores different painting/printing processes using gelatin plates, plexiglass plates, and collograph plates.
