Here are some tips on how to find the appropriate event ID for your Voting Badge.

To start, click on your user type:

  1. Event Director
  2. Active.com User

EVENT DIRECTORS:

If you use the Registration Center for you event, here are the steps for finding your event ID:

Step 1: Go to www.active.com/explorer

Step 2: Type in your username and password, click log in.

Step 3: When the page refreshes go to the "Select Listing ->" drop down bar located in the top left - pull the bar down to select which listing you would like to access.

Step 4: Locate your event ID at the top of the page in red text, or lower down in the direct link.

If you use ActiveWorks for you event, here are the steps for finding your event ID:

Step 1: Log in at www.activeworks.active.com

Step 2: Click the Reports widget at the top of the page

Step 3: Select to Create new report

Step 4: Create a Transaction History report

Step 5:Click Run report

Step 6: The report will pull and display online, refer to the column titled Event ID. The Event ID begins with E-0.

Step 7: If the Event ID is not displaying, select Choose columns at the bottom of the page. Once this window opens double click on Event ID. This will move the Event ID column over to Selected columns. Click Save and the page will refresh.

Step 8: Use this Event ID to obtain the Best of Active widget.

ACTIVE.COM USERS

Here are 2 ways to find the event ID for your favorite event:

OPTION 1

Step 1: Search for your event within the Active.com directory and click on the event details page.

Step 2: Click the register now button in the top right hand corner from the event details page.

Step 3: Look at the URL on the register now page. The 7 digit number that falls after "EVENT_ID=XXXXXXX" is your event ID. Example below:

Step 1: Right click on the Event Details page and click View Page Source

Step 2: Click Ctrl F and search for meta name="eventId" content=
