What's Included

In this two-day workshop, students will learn the basics of stop-motion animation and screen printing. You will be guided in making sequenced images that suggest motion. Using paper cutouts, drawings or collage we will create screens and then make prints. The final touch will be to animate our prints using stop-motion techniques. In the class each student will come away with an edition of prints and a micro-animation.  Saturday, February 4 and February 11, 10-4:00 pm $25 materials fee Instructor Bio: Sarah Klein creates narrative and abstract stop-motion animations with paper cutouts and live-action footage. In her print based work she reveals hidden animations through common and uncanny forms.
