What's Included

Building on instruction presented in Etching 1 & 2, the class will learn how to combine techniques and make multiple plate color etchings. Participants will learn multiple plate intaglio techniques, different combination strategies, as well as chine colle. Sundays, June 18, 25 & July 2 from 10am-5pm $25 Materials Fee payable to the teacher on the first day of class Instructor bio: Kazuko Watanabe has worked in print media for over twenty years. She has researched and developed three-dimensional prints, print sculpture, the use of intaglio in artist's books and the combination of traditional print media with computer techniques. In 1999, she received the Library Fellows Award from the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. In 2001, her work was selected for the "Print National" exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York. www.kazwat.com
