What's Included

This class will focus on the use of color in screenprinting and will cover a range of applications from rainbow gradients, process color (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), halftone screens, and overprinting. Students will develop or refine skills in planning and registering color separations, mixing ink for multiple color printing, as well as basic screenprinting techniques. Good for both beginners and advanced printers. Thursdays, May 12, 19, 26 & June 2 from 6:30-9:30pm $35 Materials Fee payable to the teacher on the first day of class Instructor bio: Veronica Graham is a research-based artist who lives and works in Oakland. Currently she co-runs an online shop called Most Ancient, which focuses on homemade art multiples and objects as well as independently produced comics and art books. Venues that have exhibited Graham's work in the Bay Area include Southern Exposure and Kala Art Institute. Her work is also held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art Library, Art Center College of Design (Pasadena), Green Library (Stanford University), Olin Library (Mills College), and other public and private collections. www.vagraham.com
