Description

This 16-week in-depth sequential art class is for those students who love clay and would like to build their basic skills in ceramic art. With a focus on cultural art-making techniques and functional design, students will explore ceramic construction to create 3-D structures. Students discover artistic intent, examine structural solutions, and expand perceptual awareness. Principles and elements of design, the essential building blocks for all art and craft work, will be practiced in this fun and comprehensive course. Pre-requisite: Previous clay class experience.
