What's Included

C101- Intro to Coding I is the entry point into the TechSmartKids progressive Coding program and is a prerequisite for C2- Intro to Coding II. C101 follows a progressive computer science curriculum that teaches kids how to program (Code) using Scratch, an event-driven visual drag & drop programming language developed by MIT Media Lab. Kids will learn fundamental computer programming concepts and best practices while learning to code interactive computer programs and games based upon the TechSmartKids Coders methodology. Coding concepts taught in this class include: • Commands • Sequences • Loops • Events • Parallelism • Conditionals • Operators
