This fun, family friendly 5K is on a flat and quick course through scenic neighborhoods and Sanctuary Golf Course on Cat Island. Registration and the starting/ending points will be near the tennis courts. There will be lots of fun activities, including a Valentine’s Day-themed costume contest, bouncy house and an interactive fire-fighting demonstration. In addition, there will be great door prizes including a chance for race participants to win a Kindle Fire!
The CODA Race4Love is now the Hopeful Horizons Race4Love! Hopeful Horizons is the product of CODA + Hope Haven coming together to end abuse and change lives. Hopeful Horizons is a Children’s Advocacy, Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center and proceeds from the Race4Love will benefit the over 1,400 local survivors of abuse we assist each year. The 2017 Race4Love will start at 9 a.m. on February 11, 2017. The course is flat and quick, and offers a pleasant trip through the scenic neighborhoods and Sanctuary Golf Course on Cat Island — located at 8 Waveland Ave., Beaufort, SC 29907. Marshals will guide you to the registration and parking areas near the tennis courts. (It’s about 2.8 miles from the turn off of Lady’s Island Drive to the event site — keep going until you see our marshals and event signs!)
Packet pickup: Friday, February 10, from 4 - 6 p.m. at Hopeful Horizons (1212 Charles St., Beaufort, SC), or at the on-site registration table from 8 - 8:30 a.m. the day of the race.
