Additional Information

2010 Neenah StreetBall Challenge - Rules and Regulations 1. Competition will take place in Downtown Neenah on June 12 & 13, 2010. 2. We will attempt to group teams into divisions of 16 teams each. Each team consists of four players (including one substitute) whether you intend to play four or not. Teams will be grouped into division by gender, age and computer analysis based on the information provided on player skill level. 3. Discovery at any time during the event of falsified team or player information will result in the disqualification of that team or player from play in the tournament. 4. Neenah StreetBall Challenge is not responsible for determining a high school or college player's eligibility. If you have questions, we recommend you contact your basketball coach or athletic director. The Neenah StreetBall Challenge complies with NCAA and WIAA regulations by awarding non-cash prizes. 5. All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of three games unless the withdrawal of another team forces your team to receive a bye. Games will be played to 16 points; win by one. A two-point shot line will also be in effect. Children age 14 and under will play to 12, win by one. Neenah StreetBall Challenge reserves the right to issue a time limit or lower the point total needed to win any game to assist in staying on schedule. 6. Applications will not be processed without full payment. If payment is not received, your team is not entered into the tournament (checks returned NSF and declined credit cards will result in your application being rejected until full payment is received.) Checks returned for non-sufficient funds will be charged a $25 fee which must be paid before your team is eligible to play in the tournament. 7. When your application is processed, your team captain will receive notification that registration has been received. Each team captain will also receive a mailing with key information to share with his/her team approximately seven days prior to the event. If a captain's address changes after submitting the application, contact the StreetBall office. 8. If necessary, Neenah StreetBall Challenge reserves the right to limit the number of teams. Therefore, early registration is encouraged. 9. Roster changes will be allowed until May 27, 2010. Player substitutions must be of equal age and playing experience. Substitutions requested after May 27 will be allowed for emergency reason only and at the discretion of the StreetBall Committee. Changes after May 27 slow the bracketing/planning of the event and will require a $10 change fee. 10. We encourage and strictly enforce player and spectator sportsmanship. Excessive parent/family intervention will result in the disqualification of the team. No yelling at or touching the court referee or other StreetBall 2010 officials. 11. Each player will receive a Neenah StreetBall Challenge t-shirt and a wristband upon registering. Referees will check for a wristband. No band, no play. Prizes will be awarded for first and second places and to the winners of the Afterburners division. 12. It is required that the winning team of each game supply a Court Score Keeper to keep score and track fouls for the following game on the same court. He/she will sign a score sheet upon completion of the game affirming the winning team. Failure to do the above will result in the non-cooperating team's next opponent being awarded four points. 13. In the event of poor weather, games may be shortened or postponed. Announcements will be made at the event, over WWWX, WOSH, WPKR, WVBO and WNAM radio stations. You may also call the StreetBall Hot Line at (920) 725-TEAM. In the unlikely event of tournament cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, each player will receive their player t-shirt. Every effort will be made to present awards in an equitable manner. Under no circumstances will a team receive a full cash refund of the entry fee. 14. Neenah StreetBall Challenge reserves the right to deny entry for up to five years for any person or team that fails to conform to the rules and regulations of the tournament. This is specifically applicable in the case of fighting, foul language and flagrant fouling. Both teams involved will be ejected, regardless of fault. Protests must be filed in writing at the information tent. 15. There is a team cancellation fee of $55 to process the release of any registered teams from the tournament. 16. Neenah StreetBall Challenge is a family, community event. Any team names deemed inappropriate will be changed without notice at the discretion of the StreetBall staff/committee.
