Our Mission

Promote boys basketball in the GISD. The League will strive to support existing school athletic programs, and to develop community youth leadership through competitive basketball activities. Dribblers will hold their participants to a higher standard in academics and moral values. Dribblers are expected to attend every practice and game that is reasonably possible, respect their teammates, opponents and coaches, and remember that sports are an opportunity to learn and have fun.

About Us

The League is a non-profit organization. A Board consisting of parents involved, govern us. We make it a practice to give money to GISD if we have enough remaining at the end of our season program, as a "Thank you", for the support they give our program. We depend solely upon registration fees, fund raising projects, and donations from civic-minded businesses and professionals to pay for the gym time and use, custodians, equipment, officials, uniforms, statisticians, and operational expenses.

Rookie League $55

1st-2nd Graders: Registration dates are September 5, 2011-October 17,2011 5pm ONLINE, October 17,2011 register at the door

Rookie Assessments

Rookie League assessments will be Oct. 17, 2011 from 6-8pm at Pickett Elementary. Each player must attend.

Juniors (3rd-4th Grade) $100

Boys 3rd-4th Grade: Registration dates are September 5th, 2011-October 20, 2011 ONLINE. Late Registration Oct. 22-23 at the door will be $120

Juniors Assessments

Boys 3rd-4th Grade assessments will be October 22 at 9 am and 23 at 1:30 pm at Forbes MS. Each player must attend one of the assessments dates.

Majors (5th-6th Grade)

Boys 5th-6th Grade: Registration dates are September 5th, 2011-October 20, 2011 ONLINE. 2011 Late Registration Oct. 22-23 at the door will be $120

Majors Assessments

Boys 5th-6th Grade assessments will be October 22 at 11am and 23 at 3:30 at Forbes MS. Each player must attend one of the assessments dates.
