Brief Description

CLINIC DATE: MARCH 12 - 14, 2010. LEAD BY TYLER COSTON, DIRECTOR FOR POINT GUARD COLLEGE WILL BE LEADING THE CLINIC. THE CLINIC WILL FEATURE FOUR 3-HOUR SESSIONS WHICH INCLUDE CLASSROOM, VIDEO WORK FOLLOWED BY INTENSE COURT SESSIONS. THE CLINIC IS NOT JUST FOR POINT GUARDS. THE SKILLS TAUGHT AT THE CLINIC ARE FOR ANY PLAYER THAT IS INTERESTED IN ELEVATING THEIR GAME.

Additional Information

We had such a great response to our clinic in December that we wanted to bring PGC back before the spring & summer ball seasons. We will cover new material & players will be challenged to "Think The Game", regardless of position. Check-in will begin at 6:00 pm on March 12th in the lobby of McDonald Junior High School (Lunch is included in athlete's fee and will be provided on March 13th) Session I: Leadership & Communication - March 12 from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm - Learn how to positively impact your team & how to make your teammates work harder, work together, and overcome adversity & succeed - Session II: Point Guard Vision - March 13 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Learn how to train your eyes so that you can see the floor and deliver the ball with precision and timing- Session III: Becoming a Play Maker - March 13 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - How to constantly be a threat to score on each offensive possession, when you have the ball and when you don't have the ball in your hands Session IV: Defensive Pestitude - March 14 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm -Learn how to make your opponent's star player have a below-average game & haw to make your teammates more energized & enthusiastic on the defensive end of the floor- WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR POINT GUARD COLLEGE CLINIC: A BASKETBALL, A NOTEBOOK AND PENS/PENCILS
