Brief Description

Manhattan Beach Little League 2007 Spring Program - Register today if your player was born before 5/1/2002 and after 4/30/1990 for baseball or after 12/31/1991 for softball. Your player must either live in Manhattan Beach, attend a Manhattan Beach school, be the child of a Manhattan Beach City or MBUSD employee or have played a prior MBLL spring season. (Note that 13-16 year olds as do not need to reside in Manhattan Beach but they do need to live in LLB District 36.)

Deadline

Note that teams have already been formed for ages 11-14, and kids in that age group will be wait-listed. Younger divisions have more time as noted above, but please register immediately to help our planning efforts.

Note that some leagues (ages 11-14) are full and we have kids on a wait list.

T-Ball League - Boys and Girls ages 5-6 by 4/30 of season. Reduced Injury Factor (RIF-1) baseball is used. School & Neighborhood Teams, “Tee” & Coach Pitch, Safety Ball, “Bat Around”, Uniforms, Emphasis on FUN & FUNdamentals. GREAT Trophies!

California League - Mostly boys ages 7 & 8 by 4/30. Coach pitch baseball. A Reduced Injury Factor (RIF-5) ball is used.

Coast League - Mostly boys ages 9-10 by 4/30. First level kid pitch/draft hardball.

International League - Mostly boys ages 10-11 by April 30, hardball.

Major League (baseball) - Mostly boys ages 11-12 by April 30. Tournaments.

Junior League (baseball) - Mostly boys ages 13-14 by April 30.

Senior League (baseball) - Mostly boys ages 15-16 by April 30.

American League - Girls coach-pitch softball ages 7-8 by 12/31 of year prior to season.

National League - Girls fast-pitch softball, ages 9-10 and some age 8 by 12/31 year prior.

Pacific League - Girls fast-pitch softball, ages 10-11 and some age 9 by 12/31 year prior.

Major League (softball) - Girls fast-pitch softball ages 11-12 and some age 10 by 12/31 year prior. Tournaments.

Junior League (softball) - Girls fast-pitch softball ages 13-14 by 12/31 year prior. Tournaments

Challenger Division - Coach-pitch for special needs kids
