The second event will be a Buckeye Elite night at Huntington Park. The Columbus Clippers will be playing a home game the night of July 13th. There will be many opportunities for players to participate in on-field contests including: Honorary bat boys and players to throw out the first pitch. The Columbus Clippers and Buckeye Elite have teamed up to make this a very memorable event. There is a Columbus Clippers link on our website you can click on to receive more information about how your team can attend. Please look for more information to follow on this event in the future.
The third event we added this year, is a skills clinic and recruiting seminar. The Skills Clinic will be specifically for players not able to participate in the showcase. The Ohio State Buckeyes coaching staff and players will be providing the instruction for this event. The date of this event is July 11, times and location will be determined at a later date.
The recruiting seminar will be July 11 at 7:00, location to be announced at a later date. Several college coaches will speak, about difference aspects of what it takes to play at the next level. We also will have a question and answer session, after the coaches have spoken. We feel that this will be very helpful to all players and parents involved with the stressful situation.
