The SUMMER NATIONALS returns to Myrtle Beach for the 10th year!

The Baseball, the Beach and the Sun... has become an increasingly popular theme for competitive baseball teams and their families. It doesn?t get any better than Myrtle Beach!

In 2011 236 teams from 26 states competed in the SUMMER NATIONALS for ages 9-15, and 19U wood bat.

In 2010 186 teams from 23 states competed in the SUMMER NATIONALS for ages 9-15, and 19U wood bat.


In 2009 268 teams from 27 states competed in the SUMMER NATIONALS.


In 2008 243 teams from 27 states competed in the SUMMER NATIONALS.

In 2007 170 teams came from up and down the East Coast, MO, TX, WI and as far west as WA to compete for the Triple Crown Summer National Championship.

Myrtle Beach is known for its beach, ocean, golf and plenty of family activities, and for the 10th year, the Triple Crown Summer Nationals; where you can find some of this Country?s finest baseball competition. The Summer Nationals is fueled by a nationwide Triple Crown Tournament Series and the growing popularity for teams and their families to combine their competitive baseball experience with their family vacation. In 2012 the new complex GRAND PARK will have 8 sports turf fields playing host to the Summer Nationals. Play against some of the top travel teams from different areas around the United States. Besides new city facility GRAND PARK the event boasts some of the best high school playing fields, all of the facilities have solid support and maintenance. The City of Myrtle Beach has embraced this Triple Crown Championship and the teams that come to compete. Come enjoy this destination championship with 123 area golf courses, multiple amusement parks, great restaurants, endless entertainment, as well as, the beautiful beach of South Carolina's northern coast.

Double Elimination Championship round
13U & 14U Super 64

2 brackets:Championship and Pelicans Championship bracket
19U Wood Bat division

The 13U Super 64 Format:
64 teams that will either have qualified, received an at-large berth or an Invitational Berth. The 64 teams will be broken up into 16 groups of 4 teams. Each of those 16 groups will play a 4 team double elimination format in the first 2 days of the tournament.

From the double elimination formats their will be 16 teams that will be 0-2 (seeds 49 ? 64) and over the next 3 days those teams will advance to the ?Beach Bracket? where they will be placed into 4 pools of 4 according to seeding and will play 3 games in pool play with the top team from each pool advancing to the single elimination ?Beach Bracket?.

From the double elimination formats 2 teams (32 teams total) that will have a record of 1-2, 2-2 or 3-2. (seeds 17-48) and over the next 3 days will advance to the ?Pelican Bracket? where they will be placed into 16 pools of 2 according to seeding and will play cross pool play, playing 2 games with the top 16 teams advancing to the single elimination ?Pelican Championship Bracket?.

The Champions of each of the initial 16 double elimination brackets (seeds 1-16) over the next 3 days will advance to the ?Summer National Championship Bracket?. These 16 teams will play a double elimination bracket to determine the Summer Nationals Super 64 Champion!
