Fall Ball League Overview

The Menlo Atherton Little League (MA-LL) Fall Ball program (“Fall Ball”) is a developmental league that provides youth from 8-11 years old an opportunity to play baseball in an organized fashion during the fall season. In Fall 2010, MA-LL will operate two Fall Ball leagues: one at the Major’s level and one at the AAA level. The goal is to provide a fun experience for the players, help them develop and refine their baseball skills, and to encourage their enjoyment for the game.

Fees and Registration Info

Registration is now open and will run through August 31, 2010. Registration Fees for Fall Ball are $100 per player which includes a uniform jersey, cap and field use. Players will be accepted into the league based on their registration date (“first come, first served”). After teams are filled, a wait list will be generated.

Majors Level

The Majors League is for players of 2010 Little League age 9, 10 or 11 who are playing at the Majors level or who are likely to play at the Majors level next year (2011 season). Menlo Atherton expects to field between 3-4 Fall Ball teams at the Majors level. NOTE: Playing Fall Ball at the Majors level does not guarantee that a player will be drafted into Majors in the following year.

AAA Level

The AAA League is for player of 2010 Little League age 8, 9, or 10 who played at the AAA or AA level this year or who are likely to play at the AAA level next year. Menlo Atherton expects to field between 4-6 Fall Ball teams at the AAA level for the 2010 fall season.

'Baseball Age' Determination

Online Medical Release

M-A Little League has incorporated an online Medical Release into the player registration process. Please provide emergency contact information and other medical information during the registration process.

Parent’s Pledge

M-A Little League believes in balancing winning with learning and sportsmanship. We strive to build a league culture where kids can play hard, learn and have fun without the "win at all costs" pressures that can negatively affect youth sports. In order to set a good example for the players, we require parents to take a pledge of sportsmanship acknowledging basic expectations for behavior. This pledge is included in our Online Registration process.

Sponsors and Donations

M-A Little League supports a rich array of programs to enhance the baseball experience for our players, parents and coaches. In addition to new programs for Player and Coach Development (see website for details), MA Little League is actively involved in the construction and upgrade of our playing fields. Please consider supporting these efforts by becoming a Team Sponsor and Menlo-Atherton Little League Donor. Thank You!
