Additional Information

The District 23 Challenger Little League Division in Lancaster County is designed for developmentally, physically and emotionally disabled boys and girls, ages 5-18, so that they may enjoy the benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities. The fundamental goal of the Challenger Division is to give every applicant a chance to play. To realize that goal, Little League has established two basic rules: the batting order for each game will consist of the entire team roster and each child will play at least half of every game defensively. The Challenger Division also provides for a “Buddy” system in which volunteers or other Little League players can assist the disabled children both at bat and in the field. All children will be allowed to enjoy total participation of hitting/fielding/base running to the best of his/her ability. “Buddies” will help those Challenger Players who require assistance. There is no fee to play.

Please complete all sections, even you have played Challenger Little League in the past. There is no cost to play.
