District 33 has invited Big Al to San Diego to share his expertise in coaching little league with all of our managers and coaches. D33 and D66 are sponsoring the event. Normally, Big Al charges $22 for each coach in attendance. All D33 and D66 coaches and managers are invited free of charge to this clinic.

Al Price- is known in Little League Baseball as Big Al was part of the Al and Al team that were the originators of the "Know Your Basebal" training program, which is the Little League Official Education Program for Managers and Coaches. Al and Al were the official Little League trainers for Little League Baseball. Al's teaching philosophy comes from decades of experience he has culminated over the years into this comprehensive, easy-to-follow approach to learning the fundamentals of baseball, softball and tee ball. Each component of the program ties together principles of learning that have proven effective time and time again. Al have distilled his knowledge in a way that makes it easy for kids, parents and coaches to learn. Here's how he does it, in a nutshell: All the fundamental skills are clearly identified. Each skill is broken down into a series of simple, straight forward steps presented in a learnable progression. Skills are presented in a creative and motivating manner that is easy for anyone from the novice to the more experienced to follow. Above all, he never forgets that the game is supposed to be active - and fun.Al's step-by-step approach has helped both new and experienced coaches build Little League teams with a solid foundation of basic skills. Little League Baseball and Softball Sanctioned Event

Little League® Baseball and Softball is the world’s largest and most respected youth sports organization. With players in every U.S. state and more than 75 other countries, the program is led by more than one million adult volunteers. It serves children ages 4 through 18, including physically and mentally disabled children (Challenger Division) and children in urban areas (Little League Urban Initiative). Eight divisions of Little League culminate in a World Series International Tournament. All Little League Baseball World Series games are televised on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3.com or ESPN on ABC.
