What's Included

Lake Christine is excellent habitat for a variety of birds, fish and mammals. We’ll start by introducing three of the features of habitat: food, shelter, water, then we’ll explore for tracks, scat and nests to find out what animals lurk along the river’s edge. We’ll dip for water insects in the far end of the lake to see what kinds of bugs the fish might be eating, then we’ll spread out in the forest to build gnome homes in the shade, before going on a scavenger hunt to find each other’s homes. What to Bring: hat, sunscreen, water, rain gear, water shoes Instructor-Garry Pfaffmann
