Casey Cares Foundation 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk

About This Activity

Saturday, August 3 at 8 a.m.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
333 West Camden Street, Baltimore, Md.

While Casey Cares children do their "running" in wheelchairs or through the halls in the hospital, you now have a chance to help them by running (or walking) in our 5K at Camden Yards.

On Saturday, August 3, Casey Cares will hold our 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk. This event keeps getting better and better! New this year, the course will be at Camden Yards with full Oriole support behind us. We are expecting over 2,000 runners and walkers to participate in the Casey Cares 5K at Camden Yards this summer!

Once again, Baltimore Orioles outfielder Nick Markakis and his wife Christina will be the race ambassadors. The Markakis family shares our mission of providing support to deserving children in our local community, and as race ambassadors they will kick off the event and lend their support to our cause.

Register by June 7th to receive a free O's ticket to that night's game. The first 650 registrants will receive an Under Armour T-shirt and race packet. Winners will be proudly announced in a pre-game ceremony.

Entry Fees:
$30 until June 7
$35 June 8 until August 2
$40 on race day

Help us do more for the families in our programs by creating a fundraising page. You can raise funds as an individual or join a team. There will be a prize for the top fundraising team!

About Casey Cares Foundation: The Casey Cares Foundation provides ongoing, uplifting programs with a special touch to critically ill children and their families.

In 2000, Casey Cares began by helping five Baltimore families all dealing with the same devastating truth a child diagnosed with a life threatening illness. Today, our unique programs give hope and support to more than 400 families each year in times of great uncertainty. As our organization grows, we remain committed to providing customized, uplifting activities not just once a lifetime or once a year, but many times throughout a child s illness and even a year beyond.

Headquartered in Baltimore, Md., the Foundation s reach includes Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C.
