What's Included

"Learning to Sail" is where sailors of all ages will learn and practice the basics of sailing over a 2-week period. The program includes: boat rigging, parts identification, wind direction, boat handling, and water safety and fun! It is designed for those juniors who have no experience whatsoever with sailing as well as those who have some sailing experience but are not yet comfortable sailing and rigging on their own. It is also a good refresher for students who may not have sailed much on their own since their lessons last season. Students who sail regularly on their own outside of classes might take this course only once but many of our students would take this course for multiple years as they learn.
