Patrick McCrann Contributing Writer

As an elite endurance coach, Patrick McCrann manages two online communities of more than 1,000 athletes: Endurance Nation and Marathon Nation. He specializes in creating training plans for runners and providing resources and multimedia guidance for runners and age-group triathletes. Over the last decade his clients have raced on every continent in competitions ranging from Ironman triathlons to Ultrarunning, to adventure racing to mountain biking.

Patrick is also an author, and has written three books: Competitive Triathlon in 10 Hours a Week, Your Best Marathon and Train to Live. He's a regular contributing columnist and has been quoted and/or featured in several endurance publications as well as mainstream media including the New York Times.

As a runner, 18-time Ironman athlete (including five Kona qualifications) and stay-at-home dad, Patrick brings a bigger picture focus to training. More than 25,000 athletes read his insights weekly for guidance on how to balance life and work while building fitness, fostering a competitive spirit and living an athletic lifestyle.
