Bike for a cause
Bike 3,600 miles across the country or join us for a week or two, all while helping to end poverty housing!
Inspired by 700, 1,000, and 1,200 mile walks led by Millard and Linda Fuller in the 1980's, the Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure was created in 2008 as a way to invite more people into our affordable housing movement. Since our inaugural ride in 2008, the event has covered more than 18,900 miles through 37 U.S. states and one Canadian Province, helped renovate or repair 70 homes, and has raised over $825,000 for families in need of housing all over the world. We'll continue to build upon this success during our 7th annual summer adventure as we bike across the country starting in Atlantic City, NJ and ending 3,600 miles later in Astoria, OR. The ride will include several stops along the way to work on Fuller Center projects. Why do we ride? It's pretty simple:1. To spread the word about our ministry2. To raise money for our ministry's work3. To develop new partners along the wayThe result of the ride is that the homes of real people get built and renovated, the movement expands and all involved grow in faith, hope and love. The impact is larger than we'll ever know.Join us for one of the nine week-long segments listed below, or for the whole trip. Either way it's going to be an incredible experiences!Segment 1: Atlantic City, NJ to Pittsburgh, PA (June 5-15) Segment 2: Pittsburgh, PA to Toledo, OH (June 15-22) Segment 3: Toledo, OH to Chicago, IL (June 22-29)Segment 4: Chicago, IL to Souix Falls, SD (June 28-July 6)Segment 5: Souix Falls, SD to Rapid City, SD (July 6-13)Segment 6: Rapid City, SD to Billings, MT (July 13-20)Segment 7: Billings, MT to Missoula, MT (July 20-27)Segment 8: Missoula, MT to Lewiston, ID (July 27-Aug 3)Segment 9: Lewiston, ID to Astoria, OR (Aug 2 -10)Learn more and sign up at www.fullercenter.org/bikeadventure
