Event details and schedule

SAVE OUR STATION...RUN THE FINAL MILE!

We’re only $15,000 away from reaching the community’s fundraising goal for the Historic Virginia Highland Firehouse! FS 19 is Atlanta’s oldest continuously operating station. Located in the heart of the Virginia Highland neighborhood, the station has been a local landmark for more than 90 years. Based on its age and lack of funding, FS 19 was automatically put on city’s replacement list for 2016. Thanks to grassroots support of Morningside Mile and other local efforts, the station is no longer on the chopping block, but renovations cannot begin until we meet the fundraising goal. We’re on the home stretch! Help us go the final mile by registering now and encouraging others to join you. 100% of race profits are donated to repair and renovate FS 19 for the safety of our neighborhood heroes, and to help keep it in-service for future generations.
