Our 13th Annual Athens-Savannah Double Century departs 8 a.m. on Friday, May 2nd from the Homewood Hills Shopping Center in Athens. Join us for 210 beautiful, gently rolling miles through old Georgia! Our rolling sag caravan will escort the group, no matter how spread out we get, throughout both days of riding, and will provide lunch for you at the halfway point each day. We ride 110 miles on Day 1, through Maxeys, Union Point, Crawfordville, Warrenton, and Louisville. We stay overnight in the Louisville area, and then head out for another 100 miles on Day 2, ending at the intersection of Hwys 17 and 80 in Bloomingdale, just outside of Savannah.
Our sag vehicles will transport you to dinner on Friday evening and to your hotel in Savannah on Saturday.
Please note that you are responsible for your own rooming arrangments in the Louisville area and Savannah, but we will be glad to help you. Make sure you reserve your rooms early, as space is limited!
We provide van and car transportation back to Athens on Sunday, May 4th.
Many more details will be shared via email, the web, and Facebook throughout the months leading up to AthSav2014, so stay tuned. Contact Ken Sherman, firstname.lastname@example.org, 706-224-2526 at any time with questions.
