Brief Description
This 5K tours our beautiful campus and includes a loop through our Longleaf Pine (LLP) forest. Our forest is the only intact LLP ecosystem remaining in Wilmington. Our forest stands as a lone refuge for a multitude of rare and threatened species.
Our goal is to raise funds to support the travel expenses of our increasingly active and competitive UNCW gymnastics club while also raising our fellow citizens' appreciation for the treasured resource of our on campus forest.
