Skills taught include: holding breath and fully submerging head for 3 seconds, retrieving objects in chest deep water, orientation to deep water, prone float or glide unsupported and recovery, roll over breathing, step from side of into chest deep water and recover to a vertical position, getting out of side of pool, flutter kick on front, and basic water safety.
Prerequisite: Age requirement enforced.
