Whether you paint frequently or have been suffering "writer's block," it's time to pull together your paper and supplies and paint some of the breathtaking scenery along the Atlantic Coast in Maine. Catherine Hillis will lead students through review and warm up exercises and then teach you how to set up and design your own plein aire piece. Learn how to quiet your mind, focus and paint to your potential. Students will learn how to work towards developing good composition through the use of sketches, on site work and photographs, learning how to work both outdoors and in the studio in developing a painting.
