Class held at the Community Center, 457 E. Calaveras Blvd. A non-refundable $10 material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Students should wear clothes that can get dirty. No class held 12/24, 12/31 and 1/21.

Occurs every week on Monday effective 12/3/12 until 2/11/13 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM

Additional Information

Students will explore the fundamentals of form and study sculptural works created by contemporary artists. After designing their sculptures on paper, students will create a sculpture made from found objects supplied to them in class. Upon completion of their sculpture, students will create a pencil drawing of their finished work. Hot glue gun will be used with supervision. Drawing homework is assigned weekly and includes an in-class critique of student work.
