Are you ready to transform your snapshots into great shots? DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) cameras are packed with incredible features and controls that can help you make stunning photographs. This fun, "hands-on" workshop will start with basic camera controls including ISO, Image Size, Image Quality, and White Balance. You will learn about your camera's different exposure modes and how to select aperture and shutter speed settings to control depth of field and motion blur. Also covered will be composition guidelines and how to apply them for maximum visual impact. We will use Picasa to view and edit the images you shoot. Bring your DSLR camera with freshly charged batteries, your camera manual and a card reader or the cord that connects your camera to a computer. A tripod would be a useful accessory for this workshop.
