The 2012 Metro DC Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is being held on Sat., Dec. 8th at Pentagon Row in Arlington, VA. Named among the 21 Most Incredible Themed Races on The Greatest Website, Jingle Bell Run kicks off during the holiday season. Participants tie jingle bells to their shoelaces, don festive holiday costumes & join friends & neighbors in support of the Arthritis Foundation s mission to prevent, control & cure arthritis & related diseases.
As the nation s largest holiday run/walk event, the Arthritis Foundation s Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis offers a 5k timed run and a 1 mile fun run/ walk with activities for the entire family. Boasting a very successful first year, the 2011 Metropolitan DC Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis had over 50 teams and more than 1200 participants on race day while raising almost $62,000 for research, health education and government advocacy to improve the lives of people with arthritis.
