Important Racer Details
Dear Rockin’ the Desert Mud Run Participant: Packet Pickup: Please have one team member attend packet pick up on August 23th, 2012 at Horsemen’s Center between Noon 5:00 pm to pick up your team bibs, course information and t-shirts. This team member must bring a “signed waiver” for all team members in order to receive the packet (the form can be found on our fan page at Rockin’ the Desert Mud Run or on our website at www.rockinthedesertmudrun.com)
T-Shirt & Costume Contest: The Rockin’ the Desert Mud Run has separate Costume contests. Please let our registration team know your team would like to enter either contest and have them take your picture. Mud Run race organizers will vote on the contest entries after the event. Prizes will be given to the Individuals and Teams with the best costume! Have fun, but please keep costumes “family friendly.”
Team Captain Registration
Team captains: Click the "Register Now" button. Choose one of the Team Captain categories, then type in your team name at the top of the registration form and finish registering. PLEASE ONLY CREATE THE TEAM NAME ONCE PER TEAM. Once you have done this, please let your other teammates know they can then register as a TEAM MEMBER.
Team Member Registration
Once your team has been created by the team captain, click the "Register Now" button. Choose one of the Team Member categories. Select your team name from the drop down box on the registration form. If you do not see the team name, please contact your team captain and do not create the team again.
FAQ's 1. Registration fees are non-refundable. 2. Registration substitutes are accepted. 3. The course and all obstacles must be completed in order to qualify for prizes. 4. No dogs, baby strollers or baby joggers on the course. 5. All are allowed at the race site as spectators. 6. No drugs or alcohol are allowed on the course. 7. Anyone found under the influence will not participate and will forfeit race fees. 8. Wear your grubby clothes and old sneakers. (Most likely you won't be going home with these clothes). 9. There will be a rinse-off area and showers for participants. 10. Bring a big trash bag so you can take your running clothes home without dirtying your vehicle. 11. Leave all valuables at home. Some runners have lost rings and necklaces. 12. The Mud Run is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise. 13. If you are running for time, sign up for the early wave. 14. If you are running for time, arrive early and start at the front of non-competitors. 15. If you have long hair, it is best to put it up. 16. Drink fluids before, during and after your run. 17. Water and gatorade are the best liquids to drink. Stay away from sodas. 18. Do not dive head first into the mud pits. 19. This is a fun run so help your neighbors if they need help.
